NWBA Members,
In response to the spread of the COVID-19 virus the NWBA has decided to cancel the Spring Conference and all upcoming Mentoring Center Events. Refunds will be provided for those who pre-registered for the Conference. We are taking the spread of this virus seriously and recommend that our members do as well. Many of our members are at a higher risk to this virus due to their age or other heath ailments. Please keep your fellow at-risk members in mind and offer them assistance if you are able. By following the recommendations of the CDC, the WHO, and your local municipalities, we may be able to limit the damage that this virus will cause.
We will keep everyone posted on future openings of the Mentoring Center and look forward to the next time we can all get together. Until then, practice some social distancing the best way we know how… at the forge! I highly encourage all of you to post pictures of what you are making, either to the forum on our website or to our Facebook group page. We may not be able to physically get together but we can still work together to keep our community strong. Thank you to all who have put in work planning this cancelled conference and to our demonstrators for preparing.
