There are showers. The showers may require coins, the nice lady didn't know.
RVs using power or water should make reservations through the Expo Center Office @ 360-615-5631.
If you are Dry Camping, in RV without hook up or in a Tent, no reservation is required.
See you all there.

conference info: http://www.blacksmith.org/wp_f.....12Info.php
looks like a weird hack happened, sending people to some form that does not exist?? I am going to have to watch this page to see what is going on.

Is there a full schedule posted anywhere, yet? Does the conference begin at 9am each of the three days? When is the last scheduled event on Friday? What days and times are the two main demonstrations? I've already registered, but I won't arrive until Friday afternoon some time, so it would be nice to know how fast I need to drive if there is something I really want to attend on Friday.
Thanks,
Matt

I am not certain of the exact schedule for the conference, but the general schedule is:
9-Noon morning demonstrator sessions, one demonstrator in morning another in the afternoon.
9-noon morning hands on sessions, one of the 4 hands on people per session.
Afternoon sessions around 1-4.
sorry I cannot be more specific about which demonstrator is up first etc.
I will try to get more information to post here asap.

Hey Matt: I am planning to teach a Friday afternoon or evening class. We will be making a wall hanging... 1/2" square bar, 10 wide by 12 high... Mortise and tenon joints for the frame... 2 "S" scrolls collared together and to the frame... We'll see how it goes.

Good Morning,
Matt, don't be in a hurry to go to sleep. I'd be surprised if you were in the fart sack before Saturday. The yakking and story telling doesn't stop until the lights are turned off. Midnight madness is to dream about, don't start when the crowds are working, wait until they work their way out, then you have room to build something for the Auction Saturday after supper. If it takes a while, no problem, no clock is ticking.
Start early when the coffee is first ready, learn with your eyes and ears not your mouth, take lots of notes to refer to later, wear out your camera. Eat when you are hungry, Sleep just before you fall down. Get up early and start again. If you want to learn, you won't be sleeping.
Sorry I won't be there, I have a date with a moose. He won't be sleeping either.
Neil

Eric, there is a list of hotels in the Hot Iron News. I guess you decided to pass on the camping?
We're planning for a Thursday after work departure. See you all there.
