There is a local movement called the Mighty Tieton who's goal is to provide space for aspiring artist and craftsmen to work and show off their art. I live nearby and believe that Ries Niemi is familiar with Ed Marquand; who is one of the founders of the project. Eastern Wa. generally has very good / dry spring and fall weather. I would be willing to help with the local leg work if the conferences coordinators think this could be a good location.

Do they have a fair grounds with covered areas for forging and tailgate sales? A secure-able building for Gallery display, auction item display, registration and sales? Sheltered space for dinner and auction? Is camping available on site or within walking distance? Parking for from one to two hundred attendees? Catering for the auction dinner?
These are just a few items to be considered in a possible site.
