My name is Ken Fuqua, I am putting together a camporee for Boy Scouts. The event is taking place Oct 9-11, 2015, just north of Orting, WA. The theme of the camporee is Pioneer Adventure. Boys and probably the adults too, will learn about pioneer life and living. Usually have around 200 boys attend.
Is there a mobile blacksmith operation that is available on October 10th to put on a demonstration? Lunch and dinner will be provided.
Other stations include soap making, candle making, and butter churning, to name a few…

It would be awesome if I could volunteer, but circumstances would not permit me to. Best of luck.

I run the Blacksmithing program at Hahobas Boy Scout Camp, Pacific Harbors Council. I’m sure that my volunteer staff and I can help. We don’t do a lot of mobile operation, but with enough advance notice like this, we can set something up, like we do for WashJam and other similar events.
Please send me an email at John@JohnTheBlacksmith.com and we can discuss the specifics so we can determine how best to meet your needs.
