Mark Standley is wanting to host a hammer-in at Camp 18 Logging Museum Saturday, August 27th and Sunday, August 28th.  They'll be open to the public both days from 10 to 5.  He's hoping to have some blacksmiths demonstrating.  Y'all could come spend both days and camp over Saturday night.  Contact Mark at 503-434-0148.  Email is floodflats@icloud.com  Here is a link to the Camp 18 website.  http://www.camp18restaurant.co.....eum.html  Check it out, it's a pretty cool place.

Lyn: Is Mark a blacksmith too, with a shop there for us to use, or is he wanting free blacksmith entertainment? Anything supplied? Sounds like a fun place but just wondering...

Hey Eric:

Mark is not a blacksmith.  He runs the place.  They do have a blacksmith shop, and a blacksmith who demonstrates there.  He is looking for blacksmiths to come in, have a hammer-in and they can sell their wares.  You might give him a call if you want to play in the shop.
