Bernard Hosey died suddenly yesterday, Thursday, August 9, 2012 at his home in Twisp, WA. He was 64 years old.
Bernie was a terrific blacksmith and sculptor with a style, both artistic and personal, that was all his own. His production spanned four decades and several countries. He studied at the University of Washington, the University of Wisconsin and SIU, Carbondale, IL.
He is survived by his wife Christiana, a son and a brother and sister, all living in WA state.
Bernie was a lot of fun and full of life. I miss him deeply.
