Registering for this website enables you to post to the forum. Your membership status will be Subscriber. There are some areas of the website that are only open to Northwest Blacksmith Association members, which is a separate registration with an annual registration fee. More info about NWBA membership http://blacksmith.org/membersh.....formation/

Register as Subscriber: access to post to the forum

1. Follow the REGISTER link on the home page of our website, found in the right column near the top of the page: http://www.blacksmith.org OR if you are on a Forum page, click on the REGISTER button near the top of the page on the right (but not all the way into the right column).  Both these links will take you to the Site Policy page.

2. Read through the hideously long Registration Policy, and at the bottom of the page click the Accept Policy to Register button, and then the button to REGISTER is live, click that to continue.

3. Create a username and enter your email address.

NOTE: If you intend to become an NWBA member, be sure to use the same email address here as you use for your NWBA member registration. This will assure that your website user account has access to the members only areas.

4. Verify you are a human being. Drag the correct icon onto the gray dot and do a simple math problem..

5. Click the blue REGISTER button. This sends an email to the email address you used, the email contains your password. You are returned to the policy page.

6. The email contains your username and password, and a link to the page to login.  The password is usually a long complicated random thing, and you can change it whenever you want.

Look for the next lesson, changing your password.
