 Happy to be here. 

My name is Travis. I'm a transplant to Washington from West Virginia. 

I did pro wrestling for quite some time and I'm a disabled Navy veteran. 

I'm also a graphic and web designer. Lots of logos, posters and such.  

I'm wanting to get started in blacksmithing and plan on attending the class in Anacortes taught by Thorne Metals.

 

Hoping to get to know more about the trade, make some friends and find people local to me involved in the same passion.

Travis, welcome to Oak Harbor and to blacksmithing.  I am a smith also in Oak Harbor.  Perhaps we could meet and have coffee sometime.  BTW, Paul Thorne is a knowledgeable and experienced smith.  He will give you an excellent start.

Welcome Travis and thank you for your service.  I just took Paul Thorne’s class this last November and it was great!  Such a wealth of knowledge and you will leave inspired.  Good luck!
