I scored an Armstrong at least that's what I think it is. . .the logo is a muscled arm, looks like it might be holding a hammer and it's stamped 169 below that.
Anyone know anything about these anvils. . .it's a lot larger and bigger than the cast iron 55 lb. Grizzly anvil I've been playing with previously.
There's no way that the 169 is for the traditional weight callout for an anvil because I can pick the anvil up by myself. . .over a 100 lbs. for sure, but doubtful it's close to 200#.
I'll take some measurements and try to get some pictures (camera's on the fritz right now) to help, just wondering about the quality of these anvils.
