I started this spear back in match 2010, finally got around to heat treating it, and will mount it on a 6' ash pole that will be balanced and tuned properly. Forged from 5160, 1/4" by 1 1/2" flat bar. a fairly simple process, I necked in the stock with my little fuller, then tapered and flared the stock out using a fuller, then rolled it freehand, forged the blade profile and beveled it.

Very nice Sam, this is one of the things I want to do a lot of once I get into the shop regularly.

Regards,
Tim

Thanks Tim! a bit more tooling up and I could do these by the dozens daily.

That is actually what I am after, maybe not dozens a day, but I could probably sell them faster than I could make them once I get my routine down.

Regards,
Tim
