Hi everyone, brand new here and a new member.

I'd like to ask people's opinion on a 5" Post Vice that the seller tells me is in "perfect" condition.

The original asking price was $200 Can. but since I've shown interest the seller says it's now in "pristine " condition and would fetch top dollar. I'm going to see it tomorrow, and was wondering if the original price is okay if it's as he says it is, or if I should offer more?

Your help for a new member would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I would say it seems a bit high, unless there is some sentimental or historical value for you. I would try around the $150 range.

Pristine is gone with the first smack of a hammer. You should find a nice one at Spring Conference for $150....

Seller decided he would not accept $200....felt as it was an "iron city" in pristine  condition he could get more...will be looking elsewhere for a post vice. Unfortunately not able to attend the Spring Conference, but will keep looking. If anyone knows of a reasonably priced post vice in good condition, if you'd let me know I'd be grateful.

Thanks for your input.

Contact David Thompson at his shop in Eugene. He had a pallet of them for sale at last conference.
