This is kind of crude, but it definitely works to forge weld cable the easiest way I have found. I used to walk outside to my forge start the fire weld up a cable knife and come back in within one hour. This was after I had made a lot of these. I think I have only made one knife since I have been working with Brian. I need to make another to incorporate the different forging techniques I have learned from him.

We should have taken pictures the other night when you showed Darren how to make one. Lyle did that one in 40 minutes, and that included starting his fire.
