I, as many of you are, am exploring the new web site and forum. As we expect with any change there are different procedures to learn.  This is my first attempt to navigate and post on the new forum and learn how it all works.

So far, so good.

Jeff

Posted, viewed the post, and reopened to see if I could edit my post.  That is QUITE USEFUL for those of us with shortened thumbs and free spel chekr...

Is there any way to make the topics read correctly instead of upside down? That is, how do I get the older posts on top and the newer ones on the bottom?

(The way I learned to read was to start at the top left, and having to start at the bottom and read up is quite confusing to me.)

Also, how does one go about changing one's password?

No matter where you go... there you are.

I thought the old way of old last was opposite what I saw on most forums. If people weigh in on wanting it the other way around I can make that happen.

So, People People People, which do you prefer, most recent post at the beginning or at the end? If it is at the end you have to navigate one more time to the last page, if it is at the beginning it shows up at the top of the list when you go to that forum.  In any case, If you navigate directly to the new post it will take you directly there with no other navigating.

Best way to change password:

Go to LOGIN.  Select the link "Lost your password?"  The system will send you an email with a link in it. Follow that link to reset your password.

I'd prefer the original post at the top and the subsequent posts following that downward.  That way you don't have to scroll all the way to end to read what the original post was.  I believe that was the format of the previous forum.

I prefer the original post to be first and scroll down to the latest.  However, I like the ability in New Recently updated topics to go directly to the last post.  After reading all the post to a specific thread, I like to check up on that periodically but don't want to scroll from the original to the latest.
