Getting old here. Can't remember where or when I shared this. Old Studebaker vise. Looks like it hasn't been used since Taft Hartley administration and I don't know how to rebuild it. Maybe I'll bring it to Longview and let one of you tinkers trade me out of it or something.

No it doesn't work. Probably needs complete cleaning. Old hydraulic gunk from decades ago. It seems to be a different company than the Studebaker who made cars.. A blacksmith in New Hampshire would like it. I'm trying to figure out how to ship it to him. Never dealt with that process before...

Hi Eric,

A hydraulic hand/foot pump and a small hydraulic cylinder. It won't take much to get that working. It could use a pump from port-a-power to make the ram work.
