Hello Everybody New to the forums | EVERYTHING ELSE OFF TOPIC | Forum

Hello all, names Andrew, quite new to your NWBA forum bored.  So this web format is fairly unfamiliar to me so I'll have to learn it.  I am looking to possibly put in for a membership to NWBA.  I'm a disabled vet on a fixed income so this has been a difficult area to get started in.  I'm currently in the process of building a new forge since the one I had ordered from online made me uncomfortable to use it.  I wasn't quite sure where to post here on your forums so I am posting in the off topic.  Moderators feel free to move this post where ever it needs to be.  Any how I'm located out of Olympia Wa.  Building a forge on a fixed income has been some what of a struggle and extremely slow going.  I do use other forums as well.  

I'm not sure how the membership works on here I was reading what it's about.  But even reading it I'm not quite sure I'm fully understanding it.  I have belonged to several groups unrelated to black smithing.  I mainly wanted to get into this area as a hobby, making blades and what not different sorts of tools.  Not only as a hobby but to help me with my PTSD.  I will flat out say yes I'm a computer gamer as well but I have got to stop gaming.  So I chose to get into the black smithing/ blade smithing hobbies.  Hopefully soon I should be able to become a full NWBA member.  I'm not exactly sure how you folks work your meetings and what not out.
