So I just fired up my forge for the first time in an embarassingly long time, and the fire doesnt seem to be burning right. Previously when I lit the propane, it would blast almost like a get engine and you could see where the propane was entering the forge. Now when i light it though it almost seems like the propane is just kinda filling the forge and then ignites so it seems kinda like a lazy burn. It's also sputtering a little which I expect is just working the air out of the line, but not sure what the issue is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Going forward Dreygan, choke adjustment, gas orifice offset/depth, flow rate & burner end to cone/chamber opening recess ratio all affect the ability of the flame to "cone out" or run a neutral (blue cone)/and or oxygen rich (purpleish) flame. In my forge I can run it as low as ~2 psi and it'll hold a weak perfectly neutral cone or I can run it at 50psi+ and the ambient temperature causes complete gas ignition when it's entering the chamber. Very very small tweaks can make a HUGE difference between running efficiently and inefficiently at the seemingly same settings. Always keep a carbon monoxide detector that updates frequently (I have one that intervals at 30 seconds) handy if you're forging [semi]/indoors in a garage.
