Hello all. I am Alex.

I live in the very back of Palolo Valley on Oahu. I am retired from the U.S. Army and a full time house dad. I was able to get some assistance from the VA and now am in the middle of setting up a home engraving and Blacksmith shop. I got all my equipment through a VA program and from Pieh Tool in Arizona and will be attending classes starting in January. I am mostly just starting on a new path for life. I spent the majority of my adult life in the Army and then when they did not want broken toys tried to become a Deputy Sheriff. When the VA said find something else. I said ok I will be a black smith and an engraver. They said cool here you go. Besides that just wanted to say hello and to introduce myself to the lot. :balanced:

Hello Alex. I visited the Big Island last year and met a blacksmith there at the Anna Ranch Heritage Center where he is the resident smith. This is located in Waimea. You might want to look him up and go visit. He does some nice work. His name is Ethan Froney, 808-640-9696, ethanfroney@mac.com. If you get across the water, come visit our association. Welcome aboard.

Mahalo James, I will give him a holler in a couple of days. Aloha Alex. :wavespin:
