Hi there NWBA folk,
My name is Ed and I'm out on the Eastside of Seattle. I've re-fired my art and sculpture neurons after many years by taking blacksmithing classes at Pratt and I've fallen in love with it. Being closer to 40 than not, I'm probably never going to master it but recently I got a chance to rent a corner of a friend's warehouse in Redmond and purchased some essentials locally (everything but a post vice) so I'm looking forward to being able to practice after work and on weekends, maybe get to the point where I can sell the occasional hook or bottle opener :). I'm also going to be asking a lot of pretty obvious questions and looking for gear too, so apologies in advance.
Looking forward to meeting everyone both here on the forums and at the conferences and hammer-ins.

Welcome,
There never is a time that is called TOO LATE. When you get saddled up, you can get on the trail. The Trail doesn't have a beginning or an end.
Seems to me there is a function near the end of January at the booming metropolis of Longview. Try to figure out how to get there, it will be worth your while. It is the first NWBA function of the year.
Neil
