Hey there, Just getting into the obsession after several years of being a welder/woodworker. Recently bought an anvil and had a lesson from Jim G. of Vashon. Just finished design of my 'smithy.' It will be constructed of timber milled from trees on my land, and have a brick floor made from 100-yr old bricks made here on the island about 1/4 mile from my house. Very sustainable -- graphic attached. Looking forward to seeing you all at the Longview meeting and picking up some tools.
