I have come here wanting to learn about blacksmithing. I have worked as a welder/fitter, millwright and semiconductor equipment maint tech so I am very use to working with my hands and love making/fixing things. I have tried a few things on my own but am very limited with only a torch to heat with so I plan on making a small gas forge. I am, also planning on being in Stevenson for at least one day of the gathering in October.

Welcome.... If you can only make one day I would recommend Saturday... Coming the the conference is a great way to see what the NWBA is about... Shake hands, ask questions and have fun! I'll be there and would be happy to introduce you around
Whatever you are, be a good one.
