Jeff and Ryan Wilson were over last night with the usual suspects, Jeff and Ryan forged these bottom tools, Ryan did the sledge hammer work, Jeff handled the hot iron, Ryan hammered, pays to be young when your hammering a hardened ball bearing with a 13# sledge into a block of steel. The block was first dimpled with a ball tool in the flypress, then on to sledge work.
Anyway here is the result. There was so much noise, the shop cat was wearing earplugs.
