I have used this old machine a few times for different things. Made it into a hydraulic press, was afraid I would break it so put it back to what it was. The jobs I have used it for it has worked very well. I do these lines in the plates in three passes cold. The punch is H13 and has done about 80 of these plates. I keep finding it works real good for a few different things, just don't jam it. Very hard to unjam.
It is an old, I was told close to 1900. I wrote to Brown Boggs and they wanted money to tell me what it was so being a bit stubborn I said nah, I don't need to know. Good press though.
