We are trying to build a three leg anvil stand for portable set up for demonstrations.

What is the preferred angle of the legs? I have read everything from 22.5 -10 deg.

Good morning, Anthony.  I remember Peter Clark talking about this in one of his digi-demos.  If you don't get a response from anyone and can't find it, I'd ask him directly, either through his website or Facebook.

This may be a bit late Anthony but I cut the legs for my anvil stand at 22.5 deg. Works great, very stable.

Peter used 22.5 and it worked out great. 

attached is the photo of him working at a local farm with his new mobile anvil stand.
