Best part...Those hypocritical ad execs and phony docs are all dead...and unfortunately, so are a whole lot of other people, including my mother and uncles from lung cancer. I can tell you about close relatives suffering... No mercy for the tobacco companies, bastards all of them.

I'm with John E..The stuff caused hell in my family and friends. Finally got my oldest kid to quit but it seems to be a fad again among young folks in their twenties!!! I am usually a polite old man(well, sort of) but when I see kids smoking outside the coffee shop up the street from my office where I take my breaks I always give them the simple "talk". "Which one of your happy group here do you suppose is going to die of lung cancer first?" Don't know how else to say it........

Yep... My mom and dad both smoked when I was a kid... my mom still does... so does my younger brother... I remember my dad "just quite one day" He probably doesn't remember it that way but I do

Oddly enough I was cured of ever smoking by my dad... when I was little, 5 or 6, I took a big swig of a can of soda... which he had been using for an ashtray.... I never did get over that... still to this day if I see butt's in a can i get a little involuntary gag

Whatever you are, be a good one.
