I ordered 2 dvd's. Both of them will open on my desktop but won't read some of the pages. It varies between the two discs. On my laptop they both seem to work fine, at least everything I have looked at. Lots of stuff with no particular value to me but there are also plenty of things that are pretty good. I'm happy. Pete
PS: Old desktop, Old laptop

Thanks, Dave: Turns out my computer will only read CD's. My apologies to Brooke and her company... Seems I emailed her and bitched at her for ripping me off. I am no good at computers... Ask me anything about a horses foot or mechanics, or maybe forging and I could give you some good answers, but computers, whoo???::(

I got mine all the way out here in deepest darkest Africa. No problems and I'm happy:smoke:
And at the price I think a good deal!

Regards Ian

By the titles included it should have been "Sheet Metal Work and Blacksmithing."

Nonetheless, I've got a solid $5 worth out of my first 3/4 hour with this new toy.

Two thumbs up!:nerd:

For ten bucks it's a fantastic deal! I'm enjoying reading the biography of James Nasmyth. You can load PDFs to a Kindle too.

My copy came.
All the books are very readable, almost all in PDF format so easily adjustable.
All are very old, no longer under copyright.
Google is creating all the older books online for free- check out Google books.

No way am I going to download and copy all 115 of these books for $10 plus the cost of the disk. This is a bargain and they are all copied and formatted correctly.
