I have several short lengths of 7/8" S-7 annealed, round bar 39"-42" long. Regular price on this dandy, air hardening steel is $8.00 lb. @ Bohler-Uddeholm, Seattle. I am asking $4.50 lb. Email or daytime shop # 360-856-0634. I also have a few pieces of 3/4" as well. Shipping at my cost.

Hey Ken, have any interest in trading for some 4340 2" x 5" bar stock? I'd trade you two pounds to one. Great hammer making stock ( replacement cost on this stuff is $5.70/lb in full sticks). If sO I'd take all you got. I also have lots of 1-5/8 4140 round bar and I'd probably do 4 lbs tO a pound on that

Larry, sounds like a really sweet deal but, I recently scored on some 4340 1 1/2" and 2" round bars at the steel yard for scrap price! BTW, nice rail work and dandy steel tables, especially with all the goodies...
