Are you kidding???:bounce:Look at the knocked off edges on this anvil... It will take $25 bucks worth of rod and 2 or 3 hours of my time and then it will be a $500 dollar anvil. I'll give your $300 tops.:mstickle:

Do you have any idea what it would cost to ship the post vise to Tacoma?
I'd be interested in it. What's the condition?
Thanks.

Personally, I'd grind a large radius on the first 3" and whatever it took to clean up the rest. Sharp corners are useless.

OK, maybe one small spot, I'd still rather just use a hardy block on the rare occasion when I need a sharp corner. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

When I'm working on the anvil, I'm flying around nothing but ass-holes and elbows and I don't want to land on a sharp corner when I'm just trying to find the right position for the work.

but then there are others who, with the help of their art and their intelligence,
transform a yellow spot into the sun.” ~ Pablo Picasso ~

If Zachary decides shipping is too much, I'd like to call second dibs on the vice.

No matter where you go... there you are.

No idea on the shipping. I'll have to get a weight on it. It may be the first of next week before I can get back to you. It is in good condition, doesn't look like it was beat up in a shop.
Thanks,
Jeff

Just got tired of moving it around the shop. Don't need to be like Kemper and see how high I can stack them.
