Here is a jewel,[not cheap],and it is for sale...asking 1500 but negotiable,I have a milling machine for my die's ,
this is just a "sideline",refurbishing old "American Iron", I am having problems starting my black smith shop,in town.
Neighbours are complaining so "code" is visiting frequently,...what to do?
Looking for an old barn outside of town, which I might be able to use.
So we have to struggle with that for a while.
I am a retired machinist by trade, and wants to do black smithing, which was my first job when I was 14,still fascinate me.

If you let people on the forum know approximately the area you live in, they would be better able to suggest solutions to places to do blacksmithing.

When we moved out of the city, one of the considerations was that where we moved to had the zoning to set up my equipment.

"Here is a jewel"? Where is a jewel? How big? Southbend isn't known for shapers, 'fact I didn't know they made them.

Hey Leo! Welcome! Where are you located? Funny, I started as a blacksmith and kinda morphed into a half ass machinist/die maker. Demands of my work, better and better dies.

Ah, that would explain it, I'm more tuned into the industrial stuff. Looks like a pretty neat machine. Can't get that kind of money for a big shaper. Heck, I bought a 36" Ohio universal, in the crate yet, for $700.

If you're anywhere near Deadwood Or. I'll GUARANTEE nobody will complain if you stop by and play at my shop. Half a mile one way,one mile the other and MILES in other two directions. Live and let live here. Don't snitch on them and they won't snitch on you!!!!!
I'm not a "real" blacksmith" but folks are real glad I'm here to straighten out their bent equipment and to glue stuff back together with 6011. Nobody can hear my LG25.

Okay, let me see if this works, I am located in Alberta CA about 150 miles north of the Montana border,my apologies to all members,I seem to have a hard time properly introducing myself, since me and Computers don,t go together very well.
I even try to insert some pictures [of the shaper]but didn't know how.
Well I guess I am better with machines that this "modern" electronics S..... {or maybe I am to old ] I am a retired machinest who likes to start in black smithing, but neighbours are giving me a hard time.
I have refurbished many "old american iron", but now I am looking for black smith.
That was my first job when I was 14 and it has fascinated me ever since.
I am currently looking for a "barn" outside of town....and we will take it from there!
Well here we go ....see if this post properly? ?

Wowzer! That looks fantastic! I know these smaller machines are in high demand by hobbyists. Looks like the day it rolled out of the factory. Very nice.
