Hi Guys, 

I am just getting into blacksmithing as of recent, but its been really hard to start. I have a good Idea of where I can get a decent enough forge, but I am having no luck finding a half decent anvil.

I was wondering If anyone around has any suggestions where too look for one second hand.

Just anything in the 100 to 75 area would be good or if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be amazing. Smile

Hi Dominic, are you only interested in a London pattern, or would you be willing to use an improvised anvil. There are lots of alternatives if you are open to them. Check out steel companies such as Everett Steel (near me) and I'm sure there's something down your way too.

I, Sir 4elements like any other person. will improvise If need be, But I would really like to be able to get a half decent London Pattern.

Im more then open to any suggestions of any kind. And if you have any specific Ideas to throw at me Id love to hear.

If you come to the conference there is a good chance someone will have an anvil for sale in the tailgating area, maybe more than one
